Hey guys,
I thought it would be a good idea to set up a thread to get to know each other...

I'm Nancy B. a busy work at home mom (like what mom doesn't work at home?!?) I have seven children...Kyle 14, Sean 12, Matthew 11, Jacob 9, Zachary 7, Emily 5, and Megan 2. I've been married to Jim forever (okay only 15 years...) and I live in Florida...

I am a Fuller Brush distributor not because I was recruited but because I liked what I saw... I was with the big Q and one of their partner stores was Fuller Brush...I thought they had folded a long time ago, so I was intriqued enough to look around...Found a product that I liked...and discovered that it was cheaper to buy a distributor kit than it was to buy the 1 item...

I fell in love with their comp plan when I saw it and the rest as they say is history...

I think finding a company to represent is a lot like finding a spouse, you gotta find something compatable to who you are...I guess in that capacity,I have been widowed a few times and divorced a few times LOL...

Hi there... I live on the Central Coast north of Sydney Australia near the beach with my husband and 6 year old daughter.

I have a full time JOB but am trying to sack the b.o.s.s. by doing some other activities such as a home business, internet marketing and I am studying FOREX which I find very interesting.

We are continually rennovating the house and I hope that will all come to an end in the next few months so we can enjoy our efforts.

I am very grateful for having such a loving family (even if my daughter makes me want to strangle her at times). We love living near the beach and love living in Australia.

Cheers
Margaret

Hi ! I own a retail candle business. Just got started up in Nov. It's called CANDELICIOUSCENT.SCENT-TEAM.COM: http//candeliciouscent.scent-team.com/. I retail Mia Bella Scent Sations candles & they r awesome! I am having a great time w/ this. There are so many different ways to make money. There is direct selling (ofcourse), fundraising, craftshows (my favorite), seminars, home parties, book parties, online parties, & many other ways! It's only limited by your imagination. The best thing is I get to run the business from home & my children get to help me & be involved. They love it! If any of you have any questions or know anyone else who would be intereted in information on how to start your own home candle busines it's a very small start up cost. Just give me a call or email me at 856-282-7553 or tweety22371@aol.com

Hi folks!

I'm Tiffany Wilson and I sell real estate in Costa Rica with Compass Properties.

I've only been doing this for a little over a month, and I've been having a blast learning all about Costa Rica. I'm a firm believer that you have to be passionate about what you do and enjoy it, and that's what led me to this opportunity. I am passionate about real estate, travel, and surfing (lots of surf in Costa Rica), so this just seemed like a perfect fit. Also, I'm a real estate investor, and so this business just fits so seamlessly into what I am already trying to accomplish. I'm a freak when it comes to multitasking, so I get a kick out of the fact that I am doing 2 jobs at once!

Hello,
Nice to meet you!!
I'm Sheryl from Las Vegas!
I have 1 daughter at home that I home school. Cait has just started her 1st online business & she is only 12 – Jerky4College (Jerky Direct). She also learning to blog, she writes about American Idol! Next she will be writing her thoughts about “So You Think You Can Dance”.
We love to watch (scream at the TV) Nascar, Cait also plays racing games on XBox. God help us when she wants to drive a real car! Cait & I also enjoy making crafts & playing with our 2 JRT's.
I grew up in southern Illinois & married into the Navy. We moved all over the USA & I finally ended it in Washington state. I went to Seattle Massage School so I could massage dogs (I like them better than I do most people) but, they changed the laws & that was out. I worked years as a single mom doing road construction during the day & bartending at night. I got sick of the negative people in the bars & had my best friend killed on a construction job so I quit both & went to work at the Massage school. I met Brad, quit work, did craft & trade shows, pulled Cait out of public school, & now live full time in an RV. That is the REALLY short version! LOL!
Here's a list of my online projects
All My Love Crafts
Whole Food Farmacy
Our Debt Free Forum
Game Girl Racing Jerky
Plan4Power
AMLBlog
CMU7

I also do CMU7's live help line & run 2 virtual offices. I help teach people how to use live confrence rooms. Cait also helps me with these. Let's see, a 12 y/o girl likes to talk!! LOL!
So there ya' go!
I hope everyone is having a super day,
Sheryl

Hi all! My name is Michelle and I live in Tennessee with my husband David, and my son, John. I used to work outside the home, but became disabled in 2000 due to a car accident. After I stopped feeling sorry for myself, yes this took awhile, I decided to find something I could do to feel useful again from home.

I sold for ebay for awhile, and then fell in love with scrapbooking. I have always loved to be creative and it was the perfect hobby for me. After I began to use all my profits and more buying scrapbooking supplies off ebay, I found a new scrapbooking company that was looking for Charter Consultants. This was great! I could now satisfy my need for more scrappin products, while selling them to make extra money!

Then it happened, I started looking at other home based businesses thinking that their products would compliment what I was selling and appeal to my customer base, so I signed up to be a distributor for this company, and then that company and now, I am a consultant for 11 different companies!

I love and am excited about all the products that I represent! The internet is such a great tool for marketing and recruiting! It makes this type of business perfect for me and I can still contribute to my family without having to go outside my home. I know that I will add one more company, at least to what I am doing now. I am looking at a couple of Pet Supply companies and definetly want to add those products to my lineup. I have found out though that these types of direct sales companies are fairly new and for some reason it is harder to get information about them than it was with any other company I have inquired about.

Some of my businesses that I represent are:
Top Line Creations
My Creative Life
Healthy Meat Snacks
Jezzies Gourmet Candles
Noah's Ark Workshops
Stuffed With Fluff
Jezzies Media Montage

I am also going to be writing a column for an online children's magazine starting in July.

The only drawback to all of this...I dont have alot of time to do Scrapbooking anymore, lol! I started in direct sales to finance a hobby that I am too busy to do now! Oh well, thats life!

Well my name is Dameion. I was raised in North Baltimore Ohio. I come from a middle class blue collar background. My mom worked a factory job when I was still young then went to school for cosmetology and owned her own salon for the better part of fifteen years. My dad has worked at Whirlpool since before I was born. Before that he served in the army and was in Vietnam. My childhood I have mixed feelings about but would not change it. It's not that it was really bad or anything but I remember hearing the words We can't afford that. or Do you think money grows on trees? Once a week on payday my dad would take my brother and I to Findlay and would buy us a toy. But when it came to clothes we would always go to the Salvation Arm or Good Will. Once a year we would get new new clothes but most of the time it was just two or three shirts and a couple pairs of pants. Our shoes were never in style and most of the time cost less then fifteen or twenty bucks. I met my wife Michelle in the summer of 96, just after I had graduated. She is older then me and graduated in 91. Two years later after a breakup we married on Oct. 26. Ten months later our son max was born. He started life out very unfairly as he was born with cancer, yes I said cancer. The first few weeks of his life were spent in the N.I.C.U. at the Toledo Hospital where at only six days old they removed his left lung. He is doing well now and to watch him run and jump and laugh you would not know that such an unjust thing would have robed him of his first year or so of life. Michelle and I have been married for eight years and most of it if not all of it was spent in financial turmoil. There have been many times when we would go without one utility or another. Sometimes even multiple utilities. Unfortunately we seemed to never have any money to pay them. We have had to move in with my parents twice. The last time we lost our house and two yes two cars. Fortunately though this last time we had an opportunity fall into our lap so to speak. It has aloud us a chance to better our finances, marriage and ourselves. I can't say enough about it. I have seen, been to, met people and learned things I would or will have never had a chance to. Thank you Tim, John, Mike, Eric and the rest of LTD for coming into our lives and spending your time, money, wisdom and friendship with us. Without you we would still be blind to all that is out there and within our grasp.

Late at night looking through my windshield and into my rear view mirror with no tail lights in front of me and no headlights behind me I pull over and read these word out loud.
"I am part of the fellowship of the two percent. The dye has been cast I've stepped out of the comfort zone the decision has been made. I am a diamond. I won't look back, let up, slow down or back away. My past is forgotten, my present is focused, my future is a clean slate. I'm finished and done with low living side walking cheep excuses and dwarfed goals. I no longer need preeminence, position, promotion, promises or popularity. I don't have to be first, I don't have to be right, I don't have to be recognized and I don't have to be praised, regarded or reworded. I've died the self centered ego driven limp lip lifestyle. I live by faith, learn by submitting , labor by love, lead by example and lip by prayer. My dream is developed, my decision definite, my desire determined, my discipline dedicated, my devotion is distinct. My pace is set, my pace is fast, my road is narrow, my way is tough, my companions are strong and my counselors are reliable. My purpose is pure and my mission clear. I can not be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted, delayed or denied. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder in the pool of popularity or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I won't give up, shut up or let up until I've stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up and stood up for the cause of freedom. I must fight when others faint, go when others won't, give till I drop, teach till all know and work until the task is finished. And when I lye exhausted on the playing field of dreamers the LTD diamond team won't have any problem recognizing me as one of their own."

Hello everyone,
What a great idea Nancy, and a darling little girl you have there.

I'm Diane. I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, home of the Bucs (or some call them the Yucs ) So that's debatable. ) If you are not a football fan you don't care either way )

I have 2 grown children, and 5 wonderful grandchildren. I also spent 15 years in the wonderful world of corporate America before becoming disillusioned and searching for a better lifestyle. I started in Network Marketing back in 1993, so I'm going on 14 years now.

I've had my share of ups and downs, but was very determined so I refused to give up, and I'm thankful I stuck it out. I'm one of those they say does NOT exist. I have developed several stream of income, and mostly thru the Internet. If you have an internet connection, and a phone line, and take time to learn, and help enough others get where they are going you will succeed by default.

I finally just finished my first book with an old partner of mine, where we tell it like it is. It's called Navigating The World Of Network Marketing and it will be out later this year. It's gone to the publisher and we're waiting on them to finish their thing.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE network marketing. I truly believe in it, and I know it works despite what negative people will say. It is a business and as such you have to treat it as a business. You have to learn to work and build it, and if you do that, and you find something you truly can get behind and represent you can be a great success.

My one mission in this was to find a company and a product that I could feel good about representing and be able to help the average person succeed. I'm happy to say I've found that now, and things are going well.

It's great to meet everyone and learn a little more about each of you. Looking foward to getting to know everyone. Hope you all reach your wildest dreams.

Diane

Hello, My name is Paul and I'm involved with My Power Mall and for me this is the perfect company. Its not an MLM or affiliate program.

We give away completely free shopping malls, no monthly fees, no hidden costs, no strings, no meetings, no sales calls, no dragging people to meetings, no confusing matrix, no downline to train (people already know how to shop, lol)
