Noticing abundance
We are all in pursuit of abundance and prosperity. We look for it and work for it and dream of it.
Yesterday I had an epiphany about abundance.
I was driving to town and thinking about this subject when all of a sudden I looked and saw trees everywhere. I noticed that on the trees were thousands of leaves. Next I looked at the clouds and sky, so much abundance of beautiful sky and fluffy white clouds. I realized I was surrounded by air, there was no place that it was not.
I then began noticing cars, homes, people, abundance again.
When I arrived at the store I was amazed at the abundance of food; it was filling shelves and bins.
Back home, I saw abundance of room, furniture, clothes, pets, people who love me and whom I love.
I have abundance of computers, high speed internet, web buddies.
There is abundance of knowledge available at the stroke of a key.
I experience abundance of thought, feelings, joy, and happiness whenever I choose.
This really made an impact on me. Rather than striving for the “elusive abundance” in my life, I woke up to what already IS. There is no place abundance is NOT.
I am surrounded by it at all times, we all are.
The question is, are we noticing? Are we paying attention to abundance?
It’s like going to the candy store. Row after row of candy. All shapes, tastes, colors and size.
Which ones do I choose to notice, to interact with?
There is no need to struggle and strive for abundance. It’s already in play. Just notice it and choose which aspect to interact with.
